Kiff Gelbwaks

National Account Manager

Kiff Gelbwaks joined the HotelZone as National Account Manager in 2020. Based out of Orlando, Florida, she is well versed in the hospitality industry with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality/hotel business, including 16 years concentrated in the sales and marketing arena. Kiff has worked with top corporate clients such as Westgate, Bloomingdales, Nemacolin Resorts, Juniper Island Club, La Quinta Inn & Suites, Best Western and more!. She is passionate about collaborating with clients across the evolving hospitality landscape, helping to identify and place impactful leaders from a skills and culture perspective.

Prior to joining the HotelZone, Kiff most recently worked with Darden Restaurants as a National Brand Sales Manager. In this role, she developed and led the national sales program as well as supported the local store marketing initiatives for more than 40 restaurant locations nationwide. She is a member of the Greater Orlando MPI chapter and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

McKenna Brewer

Hospitality Recruiter

McKenna Brewer joined the HotelZone in 2021 as a Hospitality Recruiter. Based out of the Bay Area, in California she has extensive experience in hospitality recruiting. She loves being able to match candidates with fantastic clients. Creating long lasting relationships has been the key to her success as a Hospitality Recruiter.

Since joining HotelZone, she has placed a variety of roles within the hotel industry – Operations, F&B, Housekeeping, Executives & Corporate Office positions. McKenna has worked with a variety of clients across the United States, from California, New York, Florida, Ohio, and a variety of other regions. Through extensive sourcing and outreach, she has developed a pipeline of candidates for a variety of positions.

She is a graduate from Suffolk University in Boston, MA where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Associate’s Degree in English. While attending college, McKenna worked full-time at Bar Louie as a Bartender and Assistant Manager. McKenna’s passions are travel, animals, and her family.

Matthew Rodgers

CEO, Co-Founder

As a Partner at HotelZone he works on the largest, most important executive searches at the agency. He also works closely with hotel groups in creating customized, creative and highly cutting edge hiring solutions that drive bottom line results. Matt has been recruiting across various sectors for over the past 7+ years. In addition, he’s also a Partner at RestaurantZone the nation’s fastest growing Hospitality/Restaurant Search Agency. He is a generalist recruiter, who specializes in the following areas: Sales & Marketing, Hospitality/Hotel Management, Accounting/Finance and Technology/Engineering. Matthew, enjoys consulting & recruiting for clients who are innovative and value their people – anywhere from the startup phase, medium and large global brands. He is a competitive tennis player, enjoys eating at nice restaurants where he resides in Las Vegas.

Kenny Benavides

COO, Co-Founder

Kenny has been recruiting across various sectors for over the past 6+ years. As a Partner at HotelZone, he works on complex hiring needs for clients and creating custom solutions for these firms. He is a generalist recruiter who specializes in the following areas in Hotel Operations: C-Level Searches, Marketing, Sales, and Human Resources. In addition, he’s also a Partner of RestaurantZone, the nation’s fastest growing Hospitality Search Agency. He enjoys consulting clients on business psychology, operations, and systems. He is based in San Diego, enjoys continued education and holds a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
